Beyond cooking, Chef Tuti is collaborating with artists, writers, and other creatives, infusing these culinary explorations with fresh perspectives and narratives.
A core focus of Chef Tuti's work is also centered around discovering the often-overlooked or discarded aspects of food preparation—what some might consider "waste." Through these explorations, she seeks to highlight the immense potential in every part of the farm, pushing the boundaries of creativity and sustainability in the kitchen.
These engagements are designed not only to honor the hard work of farmers but also to bring attention to the vast culinary possibilities that exist within the abundant, yet sometimes undervalued, produce grown on farms across the country. Michael Kassamba Mugini, fondly known as Mike, is the dynamic third son of the late Innocent Kassamba Ozele from Kaya Paidha. With an impressive career as a Chartered Accountant spanning over 25 years, Mike is a force to be reckoned with in the world of finance. However, his true passion has always been rooted in the soil! Ever since he was a child, Mike has been captivated by farming and all things agriculture. Encouraged by a farmer friend, he decided to fully embrace this passion, setting his sights on his dream of becoming a successful commercial farmer.

Today, Mike's farm is a thriving testament to his vision, with maize, sweet potatoes, cassava, and bananas flourishing alongside a well-established piggery. But Mike isn’t stopping there! He has big plans for the future, including retiring from formal employment to dedicate himself entirely to the farm he’s building. He’s excited about expanding into poultry, cattle, and even fish farming—a truly diversified venture that promises great things!
Beyond the farm, Mike is a devoted husband and proud father of two amazing sons. He’s also passionate about his role as a spiritual farmer, as he pastors a church in Entebbe, combining his love for farming with his commitment to his faith. Mike’s journey is one of determination, vision, and heart, and he’s just getting started!
