TEXT NININI? COHORT 2

This 2nd edition of the workshop brings together writers, artists, and thinkers to explore writing as more than the production of text. Together, we will investigate writing through travel, performance, sound, food, collective reading, and play, asking how artistic processes are built alongside bodies of work, and how we might respond to what feels like a contemporary crisis of imagination.

A central point of departure will be Ogutu Muraya's How Do You Push a River Back to Its Source?, through which participants will explore the relationship between Orature and literature, the movement of knowledge across different forms, and new ways of engaging with text beyond the printed page. The workshop is designed for participants from different disciplines—particularly the visual arts—who are interested in exchanging methods and applying these ideas within their own practices.
